Habitat for Humanity Dominican Republic executes 2023 grant funds
As part of the efforts to allocate public funds through the General State Budget for the year 2023 by the Ministry of Housing and Buildings (MIVED), Council of Non-Profit Associations (CASF) of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development (MEPYD) we were able to achieve 46 changes from dirt or poor condition floors to polished concrete floors this year.
The universe of people who were served included more than 45 children, 12 people with disabilities, 12 elderly people for a total of 56 women and 57 men. These actions were developed in El Seibo, Pedro Sánchez in La Majagua.
This project is part of the regional initiative “100,000 floors to play on” of Habitat for Humanity and the Inter-American Cement Federation (FICEM).
