Habitat for Humanity Dominicana‘s housing solutions are designed to help more families access safe, dignified, and healthy homes.
Our programs include new home construction, home improvements, replacing dirt floors with concrete floors, and sustainable solutions that protect family health and well-being.
We work alongside communities to create real and lasting change.
It was uncomfortable for her to clean it, to the point that she didn’t want to, and one of her daughters had to start doing it for her. In addition, Juana has knee problems due to her age, and doing her business was a difficult and painful task. Now she’s noticed a real change. She tells us, “This is a blessing. My family will now want to visit me because it’s more comfortable, it’s much easier to clean. I see it and I can’t believe it.”
