Disaster risk management projects “Ponte Alerta Caribe: Armonizando herramientas y estrategias de gestión de riesgos con un enfoque inclusivo en el caribe” and “Fortaleciendo los sistemas integrados de alerta temprana para una reducción más efectiva del riesgo de desastres en el Caribe a través del conocimiento y la transferencia de herramientas” as part of the DIPECHO Caribbean Action Plan with financing from the European Union, presented their second newsletter, with a summary of their most relevant actions at the regional level.
Santo Domingo.- This newsletter presents the main activities of both projects from April to August 2018. Within these activities we find the participation of the projects in an important Regional Platform dedicated to the topic of Disaster Risk Management, as well as transcendental exchanges around Early Warning Systems in the Caribbean.
