Habitat Dominican joins the global initiative of Habitat for Humanity regarding Solid Ground. The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for 2030 were adopted by the United Nations to address the global challenges of poverty eradication, the indicators have been established to measure the success of each MDG.
Habitat for Humanity supports MDG No. 17, ensuring that housing needs are met as cities expand and urban populations increase. Habitat focuses on those MDGs that are part of our mission: A world where each person has a decent place to live. At the local level, Habitat is conducting surveys in settlements where the right of tenure is a challenge.
